Zambia's new visa fees

Planning a safari or photography adventure in Zambia in 2026? The Department of Immigration has released an official notice confirming revised visa fees that will take effect on 1 January 2026. These adjustments are part of Statutory Instrument No. 99 of 2025 and apply to several common visa categories used by international travelers.

The updated fee structure is as follows:

  • Single Entry Visa: USD 50 (previously 25)
  • Double Entry Visa: USD 80 (previously 40)
  • KAZA UNIVISA: USD 50 (unchanged)
  • Multiple Entry Visa: USD 80 (previously 75)
  • Day Tripper Visa: USD 10 (unchanged)

For most tourists, the most relevant change is the Single Entry Visa, which now aligns with typical regional pricing. The KAZA UNIVISA, popular among travelers combining Zambia and Zimbabwe, remains unchanged and continues to offer excellent value.

As always, travelers should check the latest requirements before their trip. Full details and official updates can be found on the Zambia Department of Immigration website:
