19 - Day Wildebeest Safari | Waterhole in Liuwa Plain NP

Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! 🌿🌍 After the drought brought by El Niño, we’re now expecting early rains from La Niña. The plains are blooming, with flowers everywhere and butterflies dancing through the air. 🦋 The Collared Pratincoles are gathering in their tens of thousands, a sight not to be missed!

But that’s not all… Every year, at the end of October, the Liuwa Plain comes alive with the arrival of thousands of newborn Blue Wildebeest. 🐃 This is paradise for Spotted Hyenas, Lions, and Cheetahs, as they roam the plains in harmony with the great migration of wildebeest moving south. The sound of their iconic “gnuuu” call will echo across the landscape. 🦁🐾

Join us as we explore this magical time in Liuwa Plain National Park! We’ll be leaving Lusaka on 09/11/2024, heading west to Kafue National Park and then onto Liuwa Plain NP. And yes, the breathtaking Ngonye Falls are part of the itinerary too! 🌊 Plus, we’ll have a chance to see the majestic White Rhinos in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. 🦏
