Day 1

Lusaka – Fika Lodge (Lunch) – Kasanka NP

Depart Lusaka early for the scenic drive north to Kasanka. Pause for a relaxing lunch at Fika Lodge in Mkushi before continuing to the park.
On arrival, settle into your serviced campsite and enjoy afternoon tea. Later, head to the viewing platform for your first sunset bat spectacle as millions of fruit bats fill the sky.

Day 2

Sunrise & Sunset Bat Viewing and Visit to the Livingstone Memorial

Begin before dawn with a sunrise bat viewing session as the bats return to their roosts—a breathtaking display with ideal photographic light.
After breakfast, enjoy leisure time at camp or explore the surrounding area independently.
Following an early lunch, depart for Chipundu to visit the David Livingstone Memorial, marking the site where the explorer died in 1873. Learn about his final journey and his historical impact.
Return to Kasanka for a relaxed afternoon before heading to the viewing hide for your second sunset bat emergence.
