White Rhino tacking in Mosi-oa-Tunya NP

White Rhino Tracking Safari in Livingstone

Experience one of Zambia’s most exciting wildlife encounters on a guided White Rhino Tracking Safari in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park near the Victoria Falls. Accompanied by a professional safari guide and an armed DNPW escort ranger, you track endangered white rhinos on foot while exploring the park’s diverse bushveld.

A Unique Walking Safari Experience

Not only does this safari offer close encounters with one of Africa’s most iconic species, but it also provides fascinating insight into wildlife conservation and bush tracking techniques. Along the way, you learn to identify animal tracks, native plants, birds, and the sounds of the African wilderness.

Moreover, the resident herd of White Rhinos — also known as Square-lipped Rhinos — is carefully protected through ongoing anti-poaching efforts, making this experience both meaningful and unforgettable.

Mosi-oa-Tunya NP

We pick you from your accommodation in Livingstone at the agreed time. We prefer an early start to avoid the heat of the day. We register with the National Parks authority and do a game drive on route to the area where the Rhino's are. The armed DNPW escort ranger will join us on the way and will lead the walking safari.

While we are pretty sure to find some White Rhino's we can't say how far we have to walk. This is a wilderness area and all the animals are free to roam around.

After we have found the White Rhino's and have spent some time with them we will have our hard-earned picknick with some snacks and juice / water.

From here we head back to your accommodation or any place in Livingstone that suits you.
