Flatdogs Camp is on the border of the South Luangwa National Park, one of the last great wildlife wonders of the world. The Zambezi Canoe Adventure is a 3-day safari that lets you explore the Lower Zambezi from the water. First, you travel from Lusaka to Kiambi Safari Lodge, where you settle into your thatched chalet and enjoy an included sunset cruise. The next morning, you begin your guided canoe trip and paddle along calm channels that are home to elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and many birds. During the day, you stop for tea and lunch before reaching a quiet island where your camp is already set up. Finally, after breakfast on Day 3, you return to Kiambi by boat and drive back to Lusaka. This trip offers a simple, close-up, and memorable way to experience the Zambezi River.
