White Rhino tacking in Mosi-oa-Tunya NPPut your skills to the test while Rhino tracking with qualified guide and armed DNPW escort ranger in Livinstone's Mosi-oa-Tunya NP. Come with us and have educative fun while finding the Rhinos on exclusive walking safaris. We focus on tracking White or Square-lipped Rhinos which are resident in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. We are very fortunate to have a herd of 10 White Rhinos which is under constant surveillance to prevent them from being poached. While moving through the bush we identify tracks, plants, birds and their calls. We might come across other animal species like Zebras, Wildebeest, Warthog, Impala, Baboons, etc.

We offer Rhino tracking all year round. This activity can be combined with our Tour of the Victoria Falls and it is part of the 1-Day Highlights around the Victoria Falls.

The tour starts at around 06:00hrs and takes approx. 3-4 hours. You are escorted by a professional guide and an armed DNPW escort ranger. Light snacks and water are provided during the tour. Transfers from Lodges and / or Hotels within Livingstone and park entry fees are included in the price.

We pick you from your accommodation in Livingstone at the agreed time. We prefer an early start to avoid the heat of the day. We register with the National Parks authority and do a game drive on route to the area where the Rhino's are. The armed DNPW escort ranger will join us on the way and will lead the walking safari.

While we are pretty sure to find some White Rhino's we can't say how far we have to walk. This is a wilderness area and all the animals are free to roam around.

After we have found the White Rhino's and have spent some time with them we will have our hard-earned picknick with some snacks and juice / water.

From here we head back to your accommodation or any place in Livingstone that suits you.
