Day 1
Arrival in Livingstone

Day 2
Livingstone – Half-day Rafting and Microlight
After an energizing breakfast at the lodge you will tackle the rapids of the mighty Zambezi River on a half-day Whitewater Rafting adventure. In the afternoon you will see the Victoria Falls from the air when doing the “Flight of the Angels” with a microlight (optional). Dinner is at own account. Livingstone got a number of restaurants to choose from. Accommodation: in rooms at the lodge Mealplan: B,LDay 3
Livingstone – Rhino tracking and Horse back safari
Another action packed day is ahead of you. In the morning we will track White Rhinos in Mosi-oa-Tunya NP. This park hosts the only population of this species in Zambia. Around 10:00AM we will return to the lodge for a break before saddling the horses for a horseback safari in the afternoon (optional) Accommodation: in rooms at the lodge Mealplan: BDay 4-5
Lower Zambezi

Day 6
Petauke
Today we will pass through the Capital of Zambia Lusaka. It is the political and economical centre. Planned for about 500.000 people it is home now to an estimated 3m people. We proceed along the Great East Road and cross the Muchinga Escarpment again. We stop over at Chimwemwe Lodge in Petauke, an old Portuguese trading post founded in the 1730's. Accommodation: in rooms at the lodge Mealplan: BDay 7-9
South Luangwa

Day 10
Lilongwe
We will leave Zambia today and cross the border to Malawi at Mchenje Border Crossing. By midday we should be in Lilongwe and will do a tour of the town in the afternoon. Accommodation: in rooms in Mitengo House or similar Mealplan: BDay 11+12

Nyika Plateau

Nkhotakota
The safari is slowing coming to an end. The last night will be spend at Nkhotakota Pottery Lodge on the shore of Lake Malawi. Accommodation: in rooms at the lodge Mealplan: BDay 16
Departure
A last breakfast in the “Warm Heart of Africa” and we are on the way to the Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe in time for your flight back home. Mealplan: B-
